Maleic resin, resin acid and rosin acid, maleated Rosin-modified maleic anhydride resin is a light yellow transparent solid, which is an adduct of rosin and maleic anhydride through the esterification of glycerol or pentaerythritol. Soluble in cold tar, ester, turpentine and similar solvents; insoluble in alcohol solvents; partially soluble in petroleum products; fully mixed with vegetable oils; light color; yellowing resistance; heat resistance; high adhesion.
